Three are like "substories" and the fourth is the "main story" or whatever. The first is about the main character (you) parents, how their PMB were established. The second is about this historian guy with a top hat (who used to be the green ranger for this justice force... yeah, lame) and the third is about this scientist girl and her fairy. The fourth is "you" basically. Where you meet these other people who can help you fight the evil monsters "scrapers" or whatever, and the main point is to defeat the Queen Scraper and save the continent and bring back "life energy" or whatever from the other continents that you have been closed off from to trap the Queen Scraper there. blah. blah. blah.
